On Nov. 17, ninety-one Georgia State University College of Law alumni were sworn in for the Superior Court of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia by Judge Shawn Ellen LaGrua (J.D. '87) of the Superior Court of Fulton County and Presiding Judge Christopher J. McFadden of the Court of Appeals of Georgia.

Troy University is pleased to announce students who have been named to the Chancellor's List for Term 1 of the 2017/2018 academic year. Full-time undergraduate students who are registered for 12 semester hours and who earn a grade point average of 4.0 qualify for the Chancellor's List. Term 1 includes students at TROY's campuses in Dothan, Phenix City and Montgomery, Ala., along with teaching sites outside of Alabama and online.
To be eligible for the Dean's List during the summer semester, degree-seeking students with a minimum Georgia State cumulative GPA of 2.00 must earn a 3.50 GPA for the semester and complete at least 6 semester hours of academic credit with no incompletes.
